Job Title: Director for Regulatory Compliance, Quality Assurance Flavours and Food Ingredients

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director for Regulatory Compliance, Quality Assurance Flavours and Food Ingredients to join our team at Geiger Food Ingredients Recruitment & Consult. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for defining and implementing our global regulatory and quality strategy, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a global regulatory and quality strategy, aligning with corporate goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and interpret changes in regulations, standards, and industry guidelines to ensure compliance.
  • Oversee the creation, maintenance, and submission of regulatory documentation required for product approvals, licenses, and certifications.
  • Audit and assess internal processes to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to navigate regulatory pathways and expedite product launches.
  • Proactively identify regulatory risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure compliance.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 15 years of leadership experience in chemical, biotech, or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Proven knowledge of PLM systems, especially Hazex/Devex systems.
  • Broad and deep regulatory agency knowledge and experience interpreting global regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective internal and external relationships.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Fluent in English, French, or Italian is a plus.
