Project Engineer Realization

The KION Group is expanding its Intralogistics team and seeking a skilled Project Engineer Realization to contribute to the development of automated and robotized intralogistics solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guide and coordinate detail engineering throughout the project lifecycle
  • Support the Project Manager during customer meetings and presentations
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to facilitate cross-functional review meetings
  • Ensure technical subcontract specifications and liaison are completed
  • Coordinate specifications and results on customer sites
  • Serve as the main coordinator for subcontracted engineering resources
  • Ensure design integrity across the project lifecycle, including mechanical, controls, and software
  • Monitor and validate sub-system tests, including third-party suppliers
  • Review and update the technical system risk and safety assessment
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in engineering
  • Previous experience in a similar role or relevant field
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, C#, and Python
  • Knowledge of API-based technologies, including REST and SOAP
  • Basis in networking
  • IT literacy, including MS Office
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to plan, organize, and document multiple project activities
  • Advanced knowledge of written and spoken English
  • Availability for travel in Italy up to 50% of the time
