Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY

Support the manufacturing process by ensuring top-notch quality standards while promoting efficiency and excellence in all tasks, in compliance with safety protocols.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct regular and systematic inspection processes to maintain quality benchmarks throughout various production phases.
  • Evaluate in-progress and/or completed production assemblies and components for adherence to quality assurance criteria.
  • Interpret and follow visual aids, engineering updates, or established operational guidelines to determine product acceptance or rejection.
  • Operate under the close guidance of the Manufacturing supervisor or another appointed supervisor.
  • Adhere to standardized written instructions and visual aids for designated quality assurance inspection tasks.
  • Perform visual inspections of products utilizing magnifying tools, sampling techniques, first article evaluations, and/or automated optical inspection machines.
  • Input standardized data into the computerized Manufacturing Execution System (MES) using basic keystrokes to indicate the pass or fail status of products.
  • Comply with all safety and health regulations associated with this role as directed by the supervisor.
  • Follow all protocols within the company's security policy.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

A High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant production role at Jabil or equivalent external experience. Experience in printed circuit board manufacturing or a degree in a related discipline is preferred. QC certification is required.
