INTRODUCTION

This role will play a vital part in ensuring that our Leathergoods products meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. As a Technical Inspector, you will be responsible for verifying compliance with quality requirements, conducting regular product testing, and collaborating with subcontractors to improve their processes and quality.

JOB PURPOSE

The Technical Inspector will be responsible for:

  • Verifying compliance with quality requirements and ensuring the correct application of processes
  • Conducting regular product testing according to technical guidelines
  • Collaborating with subcontractors to identify critical issues and provide guidelines to ensure correct processes are followed
  • Overseeing subcontractor procedures to improve their processes and quality
  • Ensuring master realization compliance with Burberry standards at subcontractors
  • Responsible for correct production setting at subcontractors
  • Escalating technical issues to the production planning and controlling team according to delivery deadlines
RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience working in a Technical Inspection role for Leathergoods (Bags)
  • Proven experience in prototyping or assembling Leathergoods (Bags)
  • Ability to make decisions based on technical facts, experience, and knowledge
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing techniques and processes related to quality standards procedures (Leathergoods)
  • Good metal accessories knowledge
  • Passion for Leathergoods development and production
