Project Director Job Description

Tetra Pak is seeking a highly skilled Project Director to lead the implementation of complex Capital Equipment Projects in our Project Centre Cheese, Evaporation and Drying in Europe. As a Project Director, you will be responsible for managing the overall project scope, ensuring quality, cost, time, and client satisfaction metrics.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage and optimize financial performance
  • Deliver overall project leadership and execution to agreed time and budget deliverables
  • Design and deliver the project scope according to project agreement
  • Drive productivity through utilization of global processes and tools, and ensure project governance and risk management
  • Manage scope changes and issue Variation Orders
  • Secure project communication and documentation according to plan
  • Ensure application of Best Practices and lesson learned, providing input to improvement or development of processes and tools
  • Manage a safe working environment for all

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Chemical Engineering, Food Science or similar discipline; or equivalent skills and experience
  • PMP certification, or the motivation to attain the PMP certification
  • At least 5-8 years' Project Management experience
  • Proven expertise with Microsoft Office; Microsoft Project; SAP; Basic AutoCAD Skills
  • Very good command of written and spoken English language
  • Some knowledge of dairy, beverage, cheese, and/or powder processing
