We are seeking an experienced Inside Sales Manager to join our team. As a sales professional, you will be responsible for selling products and services via phone or online orders, meeting quotas and productivity needs.

About the Job
This role involves generating leads through phone calls to potential customers, handling 3rd party component sales, and responding to routine sales leads from sales engineers, sales reps, or managers. You will also be responsible for selling products and/or services to commercial firms, demonstrating products, preparing sales paperwork, and managing agreement renewals and product upgrades for assigned accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of primarily entry and intermediate professionals or team leaders of Technical / Business Support or Production / Maintenance employees.
  • Set day-to-day goals and objectives for team members.
  • Supervise the activities of staff under your responsibility, setting priorities, providing guidelines, and structuring work undertaken in the area.
  • Identify training needs and train team members in order to generate expected operational results.
  • Presents at trade shows to increase visibility of the organization.
  • Makes coaching sales calls with inside sales reps to provide feedback.
  • Establishes clear performance expectations for the inside sales team.
  • Uses standards to assess the behavior, activities, and performance of each team member.
  • Analyzes booking/sales/shipment monthly to ensure all orders are met.
  • Collaborates with sales teams to understand customer requirements to promote the sale of company products.

Requirements
You must have: specialized knowledge of technical or operational practices, a university degree, and a minimum of 3 years prior relevant experience.
