We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Innovation and Intellectual Property Manager. This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading company in the defense industry, driving innovation and technology advancements.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Innovation and Future Technology (IFT) processes in Italy, creating awareness, stimulating innovation, and improving our innovation initiatives.
- Manage and coordinate IP and report relevant IP information and status.
- Lead the organization of the Italian IP protection committee and prepare IP decisions.
- Implement and update IP relevant processes, strategy, and policy.
- Facilitate the definition of IP rules in technology partnerships.
- Support the head of Internal Research and Development (IRAD) programmes Italy in the definition, management, and delivery of multi-national IRAD Strategic Technology Programmes.
- Master's degree in STEM disciplines with a qualification in Intellectual Property/Patenting.
- Knowledge of IP, Patents, Trade Marks, Trade Secrets, and related concepts.
- Ability to understand and analyze an invention to formulate recommendations on Intellectual Property protection.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
This role provides an opportunity to work on innovation and technologies with all parts of the MBDA business and a wide range of external innovative partners. You will contribute to the efficient management of MBDA investments in technologies and future products, interacting with senior collaborators across the Company to ensure that MBDA's investments are accurately targeted, prioritized, and executed.
