Job Summary

Energean is seeking a highly skilled HSE Manager Operations Italy to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the supervision of the HSE Operated Asset function and ensuring the application of the law on safety at work, workers' health and environmental protection in the work environments of Operations Italia.

The HSE Manager Operations Italy will be responsible for detecting compliance with plant standards, formulating intervention plans and ensuring the application of defined protection and prevention measures, interacting with the structure under its responsibility, and with managers of Operations Italy and with managers of the production sites.

The HSE Manager Operations Italy will also provide specialist support to the Asset Manager in relations with public authorities both in the control phase and in the authorization phase for the regular performance of mining or industrial activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Medical surveillance;
  • HSE training;
  • Definition of the HSE budget;
  • Waste management;
  • Risk assessment and documentation (DSSC, DVR, DUVRI, etc.);
  • HSE internal audits;
  • HSE supplier audits;
  • Informative HSE;
  • Management of the Integrated Management System according to ISO 14001, 45001 and EMAS standards;
  • Management and dissemination of IEA (IPPC authorization);
  • Management of Legislative Decree 105/2018 SEVESO Ter;
  • External HSE audits performed by third parties and authorities;
  • Management and exercise of the Emergency Response Plan.

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering with qualification to practice;
  • Degree in geology with qualification to the profession (as required by Legislative Decree 128/59 amended by Law 388 of 23 December 2000, art.14, paragraph 5);
  • Knowledge of aspects related to mining and safety regulations in the workplace (Legislative Decree 624/96, Presidential Decree 886/79, Legislative Decree 81/2008);
  • At least 3 years' experience in the role;
  • Knowledge of the principles of the treatment process of both liquid and gaseous hydrocarbons;
  • Knowledge of the principles of maintenance of industrial plants;
  • Knowledge of the principles of management of offshore installations;
  • Knowledge of the technical regulations of the sector (confined spaces, hazardous atmospheres, Exxdclassified areas, fire prevention regulations, work at height, handling of loads, etc.);
  • Knowledge of Project Control policies;
  • Written and spoken English [minimum requirement level B2];
  • Excellent knowledge of the office package, especially Excel;
  • Knowledge of Project Management criteria;
  • SAP knowledge welcome;
  • Project knowledge welcome;
  • Possession of the RSPP sp2 training certification pursuant to Legislative Decree 81/08;
  • Possession of the NEBOSH IGC and RISK Management certification;
  • Possession of IEMA certification;
  • Ability to define HSE KPIs;
  • Ability in the application of the Integrated Management System according to ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards;
  • Good knowledge of Legislative Decree 152/2006;
  • Good knowledge of Legislative Decree 81/2008;
  • Good knowledge of Legislative Decree 624/1996;
  • Good knowledge of Legislative Decree 145/2015;
  • Good knowledge of Presidential Decree 886/1979;
  • Good knowledge of Presidential Decree 128/1959;
  • Good knowledge of Presidential Decree 151/2011;
  • Good knowledge of Presidential Decree 177/2011;
  • Understanding of ADR, CLP, IMDG codes and IATA standards.
