Job Title: Gucci MRTW Designer - Outerwear and Sportswear Expert

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Gucci MRTW Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for researching trends and inspirations, proposing new ideas and concepts, and working on collection development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and analyze market trends and inspirations to inform design decisions.
  • Develop and propose new ideas and concepts for outerwear and sportswear collections.
  • Work closely with the MRTW Fashion Design Director to develop and manage all elements of the design process and collection development.
  • Ensure interactions with Merchandising, sharing information on the Fashion Show developments and guaranteeing the application of inputs received.
  • Monitor the development of samples, supporting Product Development by explaining product peculiarities or providing solutions in case of issues.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role (specific to Outerwear or Sportswear).
  • Good knowledge of product development including constructions, materials, trim, techniques, and industrial production processes.
  • Sound knowledge of fashion, trends, designers, and the history of the brand.
  • Good hand-drawing and creative communication skills.
  • Dynamic, creative and flexible mind, able to adapt to the brand's aesthetic.
  • Proficient in all design platforms such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Suite.
  • Fluency in both Italian and English.
