Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Specialist to join our team at Ask Industries S.P.A. as a key member of our Supply Chain department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and forwarders through a benchmarking process.
  • Develop and manage price quotation lists and contracts with suppliers.
  • Oversee and analyze transportation and warehouse costs, ensuring budget compliance.
  • Coordinate the issuance of export documents and manage shipping data with forwarders.
  • Resolve complaints and issues related to insurance and importation expenses.
  • Support the implementation and management of SAP Transportation projects and invoicing control.
  • Collaborate with customs and warehouses to ensure smooth import clearance and daily activities.
  • Assist in managing customer returnable packaging stock and movements.
  • Contribute to invoicing control and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Incoterms.
  • Experience with export and import compliance, as well as SAP Transportation Module.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
