Logistic Specialist / Specialista Logistica

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistic Specialist to join our team at ASK. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the transportation and logistics of our products, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and select the most suitable suppliers and forwarders for our logistics needs
  • Develop and maintain price quotation lists and contracts with suppliers
  • Monitor and manage transportation and warehouse costs, ensuring budget compliance
  • Prepare and issue export documents, including booking containers and transferring shipping data to forwarders
  • Manage complaints and resolve issues with insurance companies
  • Collaborate with the SAP Transportation team to ensure accurate invoicing and transport control
  • Support custom import clearance and warehouse operations
  • Assist with customer returnable packaging stock and movements
  • Contribute to invoicing control and process improvements

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with ERP systems and SAP Transportation
  • Understanding of Incoterms, Export Compliance, and Import Compliance
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of accounting principles
