Project Developer Job Description

Cubico Sustainable Investments is seeking a highly skilled Project Developer to join our Italian development team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in expanding our portfolio of renewable energy projects across wind, solar photovoltaic, and new technology as storage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development team in managing a pipeline of projects exceeding 1 GW in development.
  • Regularly monitor project progress, quality, deadlines, and potential delays, collaborating closely with the dedicated development manager assigned to each project.
  • Develop and implement an effective data management system to collect project documents, manage data sharing, and maintain all incoming data files.
  • Identify project risks and collaborate with the development manager to prepare risk mitigation measures.
  • Manage the TSO portal and associated documentation in collaboration with the internal team and TSO.
  • Develop and present reports and presentations on project development in collaboration with the finance and development teams.
  • Analyze new project opportunities in the feasibility stage with the internal engineering and performance team to select the best projects for development.
Requirements:
  • Hold a degree in engineering, economics, or a similar technical field from an accredited university.
  • Have at least 1-3 years of experience in renewable energy project development in Italy (highly desirable).
  • Possess project management skills.
  • Have a good understanding of the utility's regulatory environment and renewable business.
  • Be self-motivated with the ability to work effectively with an international team, including engineering, performance, and project management.
  • Exhibit strong planning and organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to set priorities.
  • Be proactive and enthusiastic with a positive attitude and high standards.
  • Have an upper intermediate level of English proficiency.
