About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Department Lead to join our team at Four Seasons Hotels Ltd. As a key member of the Engineering Department, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the department, ensuring that all aspects of hotel and building maintenance are executed efficiently.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Assisting in the hiring, training, supervising, scheduling, disciplining, and planning of activities of maintenance department staff.
  2. Developing and updating comprehensive departmental policies and manuals.
  3. Ensuring proper execution of work order/request system and following up on items when necessary.
  4. Preparing requisitions for purchase and work orders and liaising effectively with the Director of Purchasing.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical knowledge of general building maintenance, including blueprints, wiring diagrams, and hydraulics. Additionally, they must be able to operate computer equipment and possess excellent organizational skills.
