We are seeking a highly skilled Project Installation Manager to lead site operations for our projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and managing all site activities, ensuring integration and installation of the complete system.
Key Responsibilities- Site Operations Management: Manage and organize site activities, including site facilities, resources planning, site access, and tools.
- Plan and Procedure Development: Deliver and maintain plans, procedures, and Work Method Statements for Installation and Test & Commissioning Plans.
- Work Package Management: Manage Work Packages assigned for Site Operations.
- Installation Management: Manage Installation Works for all Sub-Systems and System equipment, including monitoring and leading actions on planning, risks, opportunities, best practices, non-conformities, and technical interfaces.
- Subcontractor Management: Manage Sub-contractors, including monitoring of quality and delivery through site visits, inspections, and assessments.
- Interface Management: Manage interfaces with 3rd Parties such as facilities providers, Civil Work partners, etc.
- Industrial, Procurement, and Logistics Coordination: Coordinate Industrial, Procurement, and Logistics activities, including Procurement activities under the Sub-Systems responsibility and of the field & installation equipment, Logistic activities (incl. warehouse management), and deployment and application of Signalling Installation Process on Site.
- Continuous Improvement: Assurance of continuous Installation performance improvement within the Project, contribution to best practices definition and REX within the Product Line, and participation to Process / "Metier" improvement workgroup when requested.
- EHS Compliance: Assurance of EHS compliance (Zero deviation) through EHS plan, site inspections, people assessment, etc.
- Education: Degree in Engineering.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in field work execution in the railway sector.
- Skills: Strong understanding of interface processes between civil works and rail sub-systems, experience in Environment, Health & Safety, knowledge of local legal requirements, experience in management and evaluation of subcontractors, team spirit approach, and good communication skills.
We can hire in our Sites of Bologna, Florence, Rome, or Bari. Mandatory requirement: availability to travel in Italy and work in field also 5 days per week.
