Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Logistics Specialist to join our team at Daikin Europe NV. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, supply chain optimization, and ERP system expertise.

Responsibilities

As a Supply Chain Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for executing, supporting, and monitoring various logistics processes related to the distribution of Daikin products. This will include:
  • Monitoring warehouse interfaces and inventory follow-up to ensure proper synchronization of warehouse management systems with SAP.
  • Becoming an expert on standard Daikin-3PL interfacing.
  • Handling and managing various logistics issues, such as special deliveries, scrap exercises, transportation tests, and ensuring timely delivery of Daikin products to international customers and distributors.
  • Following up on overdue invoices related to overseas deliveries and European deliveries, collaborating closely with the accounting team and warehouses to clarify and reduce the amount of overdue invoices.
  • Verifying the correctness of inbound and outbound delivery data, investigating and resolving possible issues with involved parties, including DENV service, affiliates, and accounting.
  • Delivering key logistics values: accuracy, transparency, and quality.
  • Assisting in creating and analyzing reports and controls, taking appropriate countermeasures as needed.
  • Organizing transports between Daikin European plants via Transporeon and serving as a liaison for forwarding agents.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Practical experience in a similar function (warehouse management, supply chain).
  • Good knowledge of SAP and ERP systems.
  • Excellent Excel skills.
  • A clear interest in building expertise in logistics and knowledge of ERP systems used in the process.
  • Good written and verbal English command.
  • Knowledge of the Transporeon system is an asset.
  • System-oriented skills.
