As a Senior Data Solutions Architect at NTT DATA, you will engage with clients to establish comprehensive data frameworks that align with their strategic business goals and drive digital transformation initiatives. In collaboration with Business Analysts and Solution Architects, you will spearhead the design and implementation of innovative data architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Needs Assessment: Partnering with clients to discern their requirements and pinpoint opportunities for digital transformation that align with their business strategies.
  • Data Strategy Development: Crafting a data strategy that resonates with client objectives, encompassing data acquisition, management, analysis, and application.
  • Data Architecture Development: Formulating and articulating a strategic vision for the organization’s data architecture, ensuring it adheres to industry standards and fosters innovation and growth, including cloud-native solutions, hybrid architectures, Data Mesh concepts, Data Fabric, and Data Virtualization.
  • Technology Platform Assessment: Analyzing and recommending suitable technology platforms and tools for effective data management and analysis, such as Modern Data Warehouses, Data Lakehouses, and analytics solutions, while considering reliability, scalability, security, and cost.
  • Data Governance Implementation: Establishing governance frameworks and protocols to uphold data quality, security, and compliance across the organization, which includes metadata management and adherence to data privacy regulations.
  • Cloud Migration Strategy: Collaborating with clients to evaluate, strategize, and oversee the transition of their existing data platforms to cloud-based solutions, ensuring a smooth and economical migration process.

Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive IT experience, with a minimum of 5 years focused on designing data solutions and scalable distributed systems.
  • Thorough understanding of data architecture principles, including data modeling, integration technologies, data management platforms, and business intelligence tools, along with the ability to assess and incorporate emerging technologies.
  • Proficient knowledge of major data and cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Snowflake, and Databricks, including their advanced features.
  • Experience in executing data governance frameworks, including policy formulation, metadata management, and data security measures.
  • Strong communication skills with the capability to engage effectively with stakeholders across all organizational levels.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and coordinate cross-functional teams.
  • Preferred certifications in data architecture and related technologies (e.g., CDMP, TOGAF, GCP Professional Cloud Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification).
