About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Community Outreach Coordinator to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of the AWS InCommunities team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing community engagement strategies that promote the company's values and mission.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Communications, Public Relations, Public Policy or related discipline. They will also have 5+ years of experience working in stakeholder engagement, public policy, external affairs, social responsibility, communications or related domains.

Key responsibilities include liaising with external stakeholders, including local community groups and organizations, to build strong relationships and facilitate effective communication. The coordinator will also manage community events and inspire AWS employees to volunteer and engage through these events.

Excellent project management skills, writing and verbal communications skills in English and Italian are essential for this role. The ability to think and communicate clearly, formulate clear points of view on complicated issues and create concise and well-written narratives to express ideas is also required.
