Job Title: Patent Attorney - Intellectual Property Specialist

The De' Longhi Group is seeking a highly skilled Patent Attorney to join its Innovation and Product Development teams. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for securing and managing the intellectual property that drives the company's competitive edge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct prior art research and analyze Freedom to Operate (FTO) to ensure compliance with patent laws.
  • Draft and prosecute patent applications in De' Longhi Group's Innovation and Product Development centers in Italy, the UK, and Germany.
  • Monitor deadlines and ensure proper docketing to maintain a smooth workflow.
  • Develop Patents Landscapers to identify open spaces for innovation and patent coverage.
  • Identify potential infringement by competitors and develop enforcement strategies.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in patent law.
  • Master's Degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, or another equivalent technical degree.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
  • European or national qualification.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and team-building abilities.
