Job Description

KT - Kinetics Technology is seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager to join our team. As a Contract Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective and efficient administration of contracts and agreements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Administration: Assist the Project Manager/Project Director in ensuring the effective and efficient administration of contracts and agreements.
  • Contract Documentation: Transfer contractual documents and information to the Project Team as appropriate.
  • Contract Preparation: Prepare in advance the tools to be used during the course of the project, including the diagram of the contract, the list of notices and communications under the contract, and the wording of standard notices.
  • Contract Provision Transfer: Identify contractual provisions that must be transferred to vendors and subcontractors and convey such provisions to the Project Procurement Manager/Coordinator and Project Subcontracting Manager/Coordinator, respectively.
  • Confidentiality Obligations: Prepare documents necessary to ensure that confidentiality obligations towards the client and other parties involved are fulfilled.
  • Contractually Relevant Matters: Assist the Project Manager/Project Director and other members of the Project Team in handling contractually relevant matters.
  • Correspondence: Draft correspondence concerning contractual matters.
  • Contractual Obligations: Keep record of cases when clients and partners do not fulfill their contractual obligations, assess the consequences thereof in relation to cost and time, and inform the Project Manager/Project Director.
  • Change Order Requests: Identify and prepare change order requests and claims with the support of the Project Control Manager and other members of the Project Team.
  • Negotiation: Participate in the negotiation of change orders and claims.
  • Change Order Status: Keep record of the status of change orders and claims.
  • Delays and Disruptions: Identify delays and disruptions attributable to client's or partner's responsibilities or to force majeure and duly notify the same.
  • Contract Amendments: Participate in the negotiation and finalization of contract amendments, supported by the Contract Negotiator as required.
  • Dispute Notification: Inform promptly Legal Affairs and Contracts when disputes with clients and partners are likely to result in litigation proceedings.
  • Litigation Support: Support Legal Affairs and Contracts in the management of litigation proceedings.
  • Project Risk Management: Support Project Risk/Opportunity Management in quantitative and qualitative evaluation of project risk during the executive phase.
  • Project Bank Warranties: Support Group Treasury in the management of project bank warranties.
  • Invoice Management: Support the Project Control Manager in the management of invoices issued to clients and/or partners.
