Job Title: Contract Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager to join our team at Maire Tecnimont S.p.A. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient administration of contracts and consortium or joint venture agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transfer contractual documents and information to the Project Team as appropriate.
- Prepare in advance the tools to be used during the course of the Project, including the diagram of the Contract, the list of notices and communications under the Contract, and the wording of the standard notices.
- Identify and convey contractual provisions to vendors and subcontractors to finalize Special Purchase Conditions and Project Special Subcontracting Conditions.
- Prepare documents to ensure confidentiality obligations are fulfilled by Operating Company, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Assist the PM/PD and Project Team in handling contractually relevant matters, drafting correspondence, and keeping records of non-compliance.
- Identify and prepare change order requests and claims with the support of the Project Control Manager and other members of the Project Team.
- Participate in negotiations and finalize contract amendments with the support of the Contract Negotiator.
- Inform Legal Affairs and Contracts of potential litigation proceedings and support in managing litigation.
- Support Project Risk/Opportunity Management in evaluating project risk and support Group Treasury in managing project bank warranties.
- Support the Project Control Manager in managing invoices issued to Clients and/or Partners.
Requirements:
- Degree in either engineering discipline or Law.
- 8-10 years of experience in a similar role in a multinational and EPC business context.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and management attitudes.
- Proficient in English - both speaking and writing.
