Project Contract Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Contract Manager to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of the project team, you will work closely with the Project Manager and core project team to develop, implement, and drive contract/claim management and risk mitigation strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Contract Management: Ensure the application of Contract, Claims and Insurance Management Manual (CCIM) and Alstom governance.
- Contract Summary: Prepare and communicate a comprehensive Contract Summary to the project team.
- Contract Analysis: Carefully analyze contracts to build and drive implementation of Contract/Claim Management Strategy Plans.
- Contract Data Management: Ensure the elaboration of the Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) by the Project Team members is launched in time, accurately communicated, and updated.
- Contract Monitoring: Monitor works toward contract obligations, including monitoring of project schedule toward achieving contractual milestones.
- Contract Communication: Ensure timely issuance of contractual notices to customers/partners.
- Commercial Procedures: Establish and implement project-specific commercial procedures, particularly regarding correspondences, notifications, insurance, variation requests/orders, and claims preparation files.
- Correspondence Management: Ensure reliable filing and easy access of correspondence from and to customers/partners.
- Correspondence Analysis: Monitor and manage correspondence by analyzing incoming and outgoing correspondence to customers/partners.
- Process Development: Develop and produce project-specific processes and ways of working for contract/claim management.
- Commercial Approach: Develop a pragmatic commercial approach based on contractual analysis of the project to protect Alstom interests toward customers and partners.
- Claims Management: Carefully monitor, record, and notify customer/partners regarding claims/counterclaims and prepare and manage all elements and supporting documentation for claims/counterclaims negotiations.
- Variation Management: Monitor customer/partner requests for variations/change orders/extensions of time and provide follow-up as necessary to drive to transactional closure.
- Risk Management: Anticipate events and risks associated with contract management activities and propose various counter-strategies and commercial solutions to keep the situation under control.
- Reporting and Training: Report on contract management and claims activities to the project, Legal, and Contract Management teams and provide training on contract/claim management to key stakeholders.
