About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bid Manager to join our team in Taranto, Italy. As a key member of our Construction Department, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and competitive construction bids that meet our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute construction bid responses and lead on construction scope in contract negotiation
  • Assess construction scope and prepare tactical plans through internal project management in Operations
  • Collaborate with Construction departments and other Vestas functions to ensure competitive cost alignment within project strategy and business constraints
  • Maintain overview of major construction risks during sales phase
  • Implement lessons learned from previous projects and report on post-precalc results to optimize cost and profitability
Requirements
  • Technical degree in Engineering, construction, logistics, or similar
  • Relevant Project Management certification (PMP or other similar)
  • 3-5 years experience in Project Management in the energy sector, renewables preferred
  • Commercial acumen and experience in working with bids and negotiations
  • Fluent in Italian and English, with a second European language an asset
