Job Title: Bid Manager

Thales is seeking a highly skilled Bid Manager to join our team in Gorgonzola, Italy. As a Bid Manager, you will be responsible for leading the bid team and ensuring the successful delivery of winning proposals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the bid team to ensure timely delivery of winning proposals
  • Develop and implement bid strategies to meet customer needs and Thales' business objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and engineering, to ensure a cohesive and effective bid process
  • Ensure compliance with Thales' policies and procedures, as well as relevant national and international regulations
  • Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on bid progress and results
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in bid management or similar project management role
  • Strong knowledge of planning tools, such as MS Projects, and typical office tools, such as MS Office
  • Excellent language skills in English and German, with Italian or other languages a plus
  • Good understanding of relevant national and international regulations and standards for air traffic control
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with ability to drive results-oriented solutions
