Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Equipment Calibration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Quality Control Function, you will be responsible for ensuring the correct calibration and maintenance status of our QC laboratories' equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Execute daily calibration activities to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of our equipment.
- Manage equipment calibration status, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) regulations.
- Provide support for analytical hardware and software-related tasks, adhering to logical security regulations.
- Assure accurate documentation management, both in paper and electronic formats, in compliance with GMP regulations.
- Train users on equipment operation and maintenance.
- Participate in instrumental documentation issues and updates.
- Manage vendor relationships and supervise activities.
- University degree in a relevant field (Chemical, CTF, or equivalent) or diploma with meaningful experience in this role.
- Previous experience in a GMP pharmaceutical laboratory or as a supplier for laboratory equipment production company.
- Good English language skills (written and spoken).
- Knowledge of GLP/GMP regulations and analytical techniques.
- Precision, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of data management systems (e.g., Trackwise, Documentum) is an asset.
