Project Supply Chain Leader

Alstom is seeking a highly skilled Project Supply Chain Leader to join our team in Savigliano. As a key member of the Project Core Team, you will be responsible for coordinating Supply Chain activities from Tender to project end, ensuring timely order placement and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate internal and external actors to ensure on-time order placement
  • Organize interfaces between Sourcing and Project Plateau
  • Identify critical sourcing paths and validate project planning
  • Support negotiations for logistics aspects
  • Follow up planning with potential suppliers during co-design phase
  • Evaluate impact/risk of modifications on planning
  • Escalate alerts if milestones not met on time
  • Check completeness of orders prior to entry into the system
  • Participate in FAI and Gate reviews
  • Identify suppliers requiring capacity checks and improvement plans
  • Ensure all project contacts with supply markets are channeled through Sourcing
  • Interface with Production Planning to validate MPS feasibility
  • Oversee clerical tasks for order creation and entry
  • Initiate "noria" actions as needed
  • Coordinate with buyers to launch additional/replacement orders
  • Escalate alerts for major issues with suppliers during serial phase
Requirements:
  • Graduated from Higher Education in Business Administration or Engineering or Supply Chain
  • Experience with ERPs, Supply Chain concepts, processes continuous improvement
  • Italian mother tongue
  • English
  • Office package
  • Experience in supplier/customer relationships or Project/Industrial
  • Availability to travel in Italy and abroad for short periods
  • Desirable: Knowledge of ERP material management or ERP architecture understanding
