About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Data Analyst to join our Finance Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and profitability through data-driven insights and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Automation: Identify process gaps and drive projects to simplify and automate finance and payment workflows.
  • Data Governance: Collaborate with business stakeholders and engineering partners to identify data quality issues and automation opportunities, maximizing efficiency and value-added tasks.
  • Financial Reporting: Manage and execute financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring data accuracy and completeness, all while understanding business context of the financial performance.
  • Costs and Revenues Reconciliation: Reconcile total costs and revenues against expectations to help track actuals to forecast, and communicate any expected or unexpected variances.
  • Stakeholder Management: Partner closely with business stakeholders to ensure alignment on financial accuracy, build trust through reliable data, and create a resilient financial ecosystem that enables informed business decisions and keeps pace with the evolving needs of Hopper.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis to identify and implement solutions that address core data and reporting issues.
  • Lead Ad Hoc Projects: Develop business cases and lead new Finance-managed services and other value-add initiatives.
