BeyondTrust Support Engineer

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced BeyondTrust Engineer to join our Identity Security team in Romania. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing, configuring, and optimizing BeyondTrust password Safe for large enterprise organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the resolution of incidents, following defined incident management processes.
• Lead Incident response activities, including advanced troubleshooting, and provide detailed root cause analysis for unplanned outages and problems.
• Take ownership of escalated technical issues, troubleshoot, and resolve complex problems efficiently while adhering to established SLAs.
• Analyse and identify recurring issues, proposing proactive solutions and process improvements to prevent future problems.
• Maintain excellent communication with clients, providing clear and concise updates on the status of their issues, expected resolution times, and steps taken to resolve problems.
• Perform advanced system administration tasks, such as server configuration, maintenance, patching, and upgrades as needed.
• Participate in change and release management activities. Review and assess proposed changes, conduct impact analysis, and develop implementation plans. Coordinate testing, validation, and deployment of system changes and enhancements.
• Manage and monitor the BeyondTrust Password Safe and Privilege Remote Access and resolve all issues related to Admin access to target servers and network devices
• Participate in 24x7 rotation.
• 3-5 years of experience as a BeyondTrust Engineer and/or Administrator.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in managing, configuring, and optimizing BeyondTrust password Safe for large enterprise organizations.
• Hands on practical experience deploying / supporting BeyondTrust products (Privilege Management for Desktops, Privilege Management for Unix and Linux, Password Safe, AD Bridge, Remote Support, Privileged Remote Access).
• BeyondTrust Certifications required for this role
• Certified Implementation Engineer – Password Safe
• Certified Implementation Engineer Advance – Password Safe
• Certified Implementation Engineer – Privileged Remote Access
• Certified Implementation Engineer Advance – Privileged Remote Access
• Highly organised, with ability to work independently or as part of a team
• You enjoy working in a friendly environment where you are challenged and can learn from our BeyondTrust Consultants
• Excellent English
• You have strong analytical skills, are customer-oriented, and can explain complex issues in simple terms.
