About this role

We are seeking an experienced Installation Engineer to join our team in Europe. As a critical member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper installation of our tools at customer sites, meeting project commitments, and working in multicultural teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Hold pre-installation meetings with customers to scope unique requirements and create a plan of action.
  • Install tools at customer sites, meeting KLA specifications, through system testing and validation.
  • Solve complex system issues in a timely manner, using abstract thought and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Manage critical issues across customers and regions.
  • Verify tool performance with customers, ensuring proper functioning.
  • Manage customer satisfaction through meetings and updates.
  • Perform install/customer-focused application testing and provide new product installation training.

Requirements

  • Technical degree/diploma in engineering, mechanical, electrical, electronic engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-3 years semiconductor industry work experience is a bonus.
  • Panel of competencies in optical, mechanic, electronic, lithography, metrology, and laser technology – is desirable.
  • Good level technical & analytical skills, ability to understand and troubleshoot problems in software and electronic, optic, mechanical, electro-mechanical, or electro-optical systems.
  • Knowledge of computer theory, operating systems (i.e., MS Windows).
  • Ability to work under pressure, work to project deadlines, and travel internationally.
