Unleash Your Expertise Purpose of the Role

We are in search of a skilled Sound Technician to enhance our entertainment offerings on board our vessels.
This individual will be responsible for ensuring an exceptional auditory experience for our guests, making every performance resonate beautifully.

Key Duties
  • Managing the sound equipment during performances, with a focus on maintaining the integrity of the ship's assets under the guidance of the Engine Department.
  • Adhering strictly to safety protocols on board, recognizing that improper handling of equipment can lead to significant risks and damages.
  • Primarily operating the sound console in the Theatre during shows and various events, while also overseeing sound systems in lounges, collaborating with the Lounge Technician.
  • Supporting Artists, Musicians, Cruise Staff, Hosts/Hostesses, and Lecturers by preparing technical gear and ensuring optimal sound quality for each event.
  • Communicating any equipment issues to the Head Technician in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, treating all equipment with utmost respect and ensuring no items are left unsecured.
Qualifications
  • Completion of high school education; specialization in sound engineering is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in large-scale productions, theaters, or related services.
  • Strong understanding of sound systems, mixing consoles, and live audio management.
  • Proficient in computer applications.
  • Good command of the English language.
