Job Summary

The primary objective of this role is to assist the Manager in implementing event and public relations strategies for Galileo Global Education's Milano Fashion & Milano Design School.

In this position, the Event & PR Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the development of on-site activities, organizing promotional and institutional events, implementing the company's PR strategy, and increasing brand visibility under the supervision of the Manager.

Key Responsibilities

The Event & PR Coordinator will support the Manager in organizing events, locations, and maintaining relationships with clients and suppliers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and organizing internal and external school events in all phases;
  • Supporting the Manager in designing events, including choosing locations, logistics, and coordinating catering and fittings, as well as producing materials and invitations;
  • Developing and implementing an effective communication strategy for events and creating reports;
  • Supporting the Manager in realizing event concepts;
  • Managing and updating contact databases;
  • Supervising and monitoring the success of events;
  • Maintaining relationships with the procurement office;
  • Coordinating external relations networks;
  • Monitoring and analyzing PR results, including investment returns;
  • Developing PR initiatives;
  • Leveraging existing media relationships and cultivating new contacts within offline and online media;
  • Collaborating with the Social Media team.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in events and/or public relations;
  • English proficiency;
  • Proficiency in Office Suite;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Proactive, strongly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented;
  • Strong interest in the fashion/design industry.
