We are seeking a skilled Testing Engineer to join our dynamic team.
The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting mechanical evaluations on submarine cable systems to determine their resilience against mechanical forces.
Utilizing a theoretical framework, the engineer will establish optimized testing circuits, measurement tools, and collaborate with internal stakeholders and engineering teams to comprehend project requirements.
The individual will oversee laboratory personnel engaged in testing, execute testing procedures, and interpret the results. Depending on their level of expertise, the candidate may also organize the testing schedule and lead research and development initiatives.
Who are we looking for?
We are in search of a Testing Engineer with the following qualifications:
- Approximately 2 years of experience in testing laboratories;
- A master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field;
- Strong initiative and attention to detail;
- A genuine enthusiasm for laboratory work;
- Excellent collaborative skills;
- Adaptability, flexibility, and problem-solving abilities;
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken;
- Willingness to travel;
- A keen interest or expertise in electrical engineering aspects would be a significant advantage, as well as experience in welding processes.
