**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Electronic Warfare Systems Engineer to join our team at Jefferson Wells. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical supervision of electronic warfare systems, including design, integration, and interface issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical supervision of electronic warfare systems, including design, integration, and interface issues.
- Master the design, integration, and interface issues of technically and industrially complex combat systems.
- Proven knowledge of electronic warfare systems, including complex subsystems integrated into combat systems.
- Responsible for technical exchanges with main suppliers of the system, including monitoring technical obligations of specifications.
- Responsible for the specifications, statement of work, and monitoring the correct execution by the interested industrial partner of the development, qualification, functional and physical integration, and safety studies for the systems.
- Involved in the correct technical execution of the contract with the system supplier and its correct functional and technical integration.
- Preparation and guidance of technical reviews with customers, during which the supplier's design must be accepted.
- Analyses and assessment of the necessary changes.
- Configuration control, execution, and arbitration of technical reviews and key hold points with various stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in engineering with at least 10 years of experience as a System Engineer or Architect of complex systems.
- Successful experience in the technical management of subcontracts in a complex multinational context.
- Exemplary and professional attitude towards demanding customers and subcontractors.
- Proven listening and leadership skills to ensure the technical control of collaborators in the successful development of the integrated on-board system.
- Ability to monitor, as a prime contractor, developments and tests at suppliers, integration platforms, and shipyards.
- Professional English (spoken, written, and read), French would be a plus.
- Successful experience working on operational maintenance of combat ships would be a plus.
Location:
Genoa (Italy), with some travel in both Italy and France.
