As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer - Production Lead, you will play a key role in driving the success of our production operations. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the Mechanical Industrialization Department, defining its objectives and evaluating the performance of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement production processes and procedures to ensure efficient and effective manufacturing operations.
- Manage and develop internal resources by promoting the development of professional and personal skills.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new product introductions, ensuring seamless integration with existing production processes.
- Guarantee the continuous improvement of serial production processes, improve quality, and reduce serial production costs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company quality procedures, working closely with the safety department.
- Define site industrial CAPEX investments, aligning with industrial strategies.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience in a mechanical factory as Manufacturing Engineer.
- Nice-to-have: previous experience as Responsible for a team.
- Consolidated knowledge and experience on machining technologies and superficial/heat treatments.
- Professional knowledge of English.
- Experience in ergonomic principles, process engineering, design of assembly of testing lines.
- Ability to lead the industrialization team, to solve problems, and to apply decisional process (perform analysis and propose new solutions).
- Active listening: giving full attention to what others are saying.
- Attitude to work in team and to collaborate with various departments (i.e. quality, manufacturing, design, supply chain) and suppliers.
