We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our team at Turner & Townsend Group. As an Interface & Risk Manager, you will play a critical role in the development and execution of our Italian offshore wind projects.
Main Responsibilities:
- Interface Management:
- Develop and implement Interface Management plans, processes, and tools to ensure effective coordination between work packages, internal teams, and contractors.
- Manage internal and external sources of information and technical interfaces to ensure seamless communication.
- Define clear roles, limits, and scope of work matrices for all contractors to prevent conflicts.
- Support the development and implementation of engineering solutions for interface conflicts.
- Facilitate and coordinate interface meetings both internally and externally.
- Actively engage with the supply chain and provide technical support to the procurement department as required.
- Support the commercial team to ensure clarity on interfaces between contracts.
- Support the scheduler in aligning contractor interfaces in the schedule.
- Supervise and manage engineering framework contracts to ensure optimal technical consistency and timely delivery.
- Maintain effective coordination of offshore work packages to ensure technical consistency, quality, and safety aspects.
- Risk Management:
- Create project risk strategies and implement a risk management plan in compliance with project policies.
- Manage risk management processes, including planning, identifying risks, performing qualitative and quantitative analyses, planning risk responses, monitoring, and controlling risks.
- Implement risk workshops with project teams, suppliers, and internal interfaces within the respective projects.
- Prepare risk reports and analyses to support management in decision-making.
- Develop and maintain a project risk register, response plan templates, and other documentation with the wider project team.
- Train risk owners in risk management and proactively work with project teams to develop risk mitigation actions.
- Identify best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, tools, and templates.
- Determine the project budget contingency.
- Communicate the risk strategy within the projects and organization.
Qualifications:
- Degree qualified in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience or previous proven experience in a risk management environment.
- A working understanding of an integrated risk management process (risk, cost, and schedule) on large programs or projects.
- Excellent communication skills in Italian and English (oral and written).
