Role Overview
System Ceramics, a member of the Coesia Group, is seeking an Electrical Engineering Supervisor for E-commerce Technologies to enhance the divisional team.
The chosen candidate will spearhead the design and development of a novel divisional product tailored for the E-Commerce sector within Coesia. This role involves collaboration with local R&D and Engineering teams across the division to guide the machinery development for automated packaging solutions and logistics systems.
Reporting to the Technical Project Manager for E-Commerce Technologies, the Electrical Engineering Supervisor will be tasked with:
- Supporting both internal and external resources focused on engineering design;
- Researching and assessing electrical components;
- Evaluating compliance with current machine safety regulations by reviewing safety documentation associated with projects;
- Monitoring machine performance metrics, controls, and magnetic fields;
- Serving as a technical reference for internal and external clients throughout the commissioning phase.
Qualifications for Success
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in automation machinery in a similar capacity;
- A Master's degree in automation, electronics, or a related discipline is advantageous;
- Proficient understanding of EPLAN;
- Strong knowledge of machinery safety regulations;
- Proficient in the English language, both written and spoken;
- Excellent interpersonal relationship-building skills;
- Ability to manage and functionally coordinate a team of resources;
- Willingness to travel approximately 20-30% of the time.
