Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Demand Planning and Forecasting to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain organization, you will be responsible for leading the demand planning and forecasting process to ensure accurate and timely delivery of our products to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the demand planning team in the creation and maintenance of monthly and weekly demand plans across all product categories and channels.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with marketing, sales, and other functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Partner with business unit supply planning managers to ensure forecasts can be translated into actionable supply chain plans that optimize inventory and maximize customer service.
  • Analyze key business drivers, including point-of-sale data, market share, product data, and inventory requirements, to drive improvement in the forecasting process.
  • Manage root cause analysis and lead plans to drive continuous improvement in forecast accuracy.
  • Ensure best practices related to monthly S&OP and weekly demand planning are followed throughout the planning process.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of forecasting analytics and statistical modeling methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication skills (oral and written).
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong partnerships across all functions while fostering a culture of collaboration.
  • Demonstrated leadership and development of direct reports.
  • Demonstrated success working in a matrixed organization.
  • Experience with continual process improvement methods.
  • Solid experience in presenting ideas and concepts to varying seniority levels within an organization.
  • Experience in the industry or in a CPG environment is required.
