Job Summary
Ascend Performance Materials is seeking a Production Supervisor to drive unit performance and operational excellence in our Mozzate plant. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for implementing production plans, analyzing deviations, and managing production parameters in SAP.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement production plans to achieve operational entitlements in safety, yields, usage, reliability, and quality.
- Provide guidance to the production team and site leadership on production execution and scheduling.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operations, propose changes to equipment, operational practices, and production processes.
- Facilitate shift changes, training programs, and troubleshooting to resolve process and product deviations.
- Monitor and analyze KPIs related to manufacturing processes, including OEE, and implement improvement plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
- Foster a culture of employee engagement, teamwork, ownership, trust, creativity, innovation, and growth.
Requirements
- Knowledge of extrusion processes and polymers.
- Plastics/Chemicals/Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent experience.
- Excellent English language skills (written and spoken).
- 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in chemicals.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing is a plus.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills for a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lead and motivate production operators towards shared goals.
- Flexible, reliable, and open-minded.
