About the Role

ThyssenKrupp Presta AG is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Erection and Commissioning Hub in Italy. As the Head of Erection and Commissioning Hub, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a concept for the local hub and building it up from scratch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a concept for the local Erection and Commissioning Hub and implement its build-up from beginning to full operation.
  • Manage and lead a team of professionals in the Erection and Commissioning Hub.
  • Define the scope of activities for the Erection and Commissioning Hub.
  • Coordinate the build-up of the Erection and Commissioning Hub for Green Hydrogen.
  • Ensure that strategies and processes are aligned with the business objectives of ThyssenKrupp Presta AG.
  • Continuously improve processes and follow and enforce related policies.
  • Develop, implement, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Establish appropriate systems, procedures, and adopt best practices and methodologies in the Erection and Commissioning Hub.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of competence within the Erection and Commissioning teams.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure strategy and execution alignment.
  • Contribute to overall business strategy and annual budget planning, monitoring budget expenditure.
  • Manage, supervise, and develop people, including succession planning, training, talent management, and career development.
Requirements
  • Fluent in English (German and other European languages are a plus).
  • Willingness to travel, especially to Germany and out of Europe at plant site.
  • Proven track record of experience in MA transaction and in build-up of new business in new locations.
  • Strong business and management background (Mechanical and Chemical background is a plus).
  • Customer-centric, fact-based, and data-driven.
  • Ability to communicate on all levels within the company and with clients/suppliers in written form and verbally.
  • Previous professional experience gained in plant erection, commissioning, and service supervision (6 years).
  • Strong decision-making skills.
  • Strong business sense and focus on delivering excellent results.
  • Proven ability to operate cross-functionally and be a team player.
  • Competencies in relationship management, change management, thought leadership, and problem-solving.
  • Ability to prioritize, demonstrating relevant organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, process, with the ability to work accurately in a busy, dynamic, and demanding environment.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work proactively using own initiative.
  • Strong but adaptive person who is leading and motivating people.
  • High attention to HSE topics and procedures.
