Position Overview

We are seeking a Customer Support Engineer to assist our clients with the current and future implementation of tools at their locations. New graduates are welcome to apply if they exhibit strong practical skills and a commitment to excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Selected candidates will undergo formal training at one of our prestigious training facilities.
  • Travel, both domestic and international, is necessary for initial training.
  • Accountable for customer service tasks related to updating, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing complex capital equipment at client sites.
  • Represent our organization, ensuring client satisfaction with our services and maintaining the operational integrity of system equipment.
  • Collaborate with clients to reduce downtime effectively.
  • Assist Installation Engineers in resolving technical issues.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certified engineer or a degree from a recognized technical institution, or approximately 3 years of relevant industry experience. Technical military training may also be considered.
  • Capability to comprehend and tackle issues in software, electronics, optics, mechanical, electro-mechanical, and/or electro-optical systems to resolve on-site client challenges.
  • Experience with electronic systems in sectors such as semiconductor, medical devices, defense, aerospace, or aviation is advantageous.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven ability to engage empathetically with clients, ensuring a positive experience while fostering a collaborative atmosphere to meet their needs.
  • Enthusiastic about hands-on work and eager to learn new skills.
  • Proactive communication that promotes seamless collaboration and effectively addresses client requirements.
  • Proficiency in English and Italian is essential.
  • Valid driver's license is required.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of related experience OR Master's Degree with no related experience OR Certified engineer or degree from a technical institution with approximately 3 years of industry experience. Technical military training may also be taken into account.
