Position Overview

We are seeking an Operations Project Coordinator (f/m/d) to contribute to our dedicated and collaborative team within GPQSS - Grid & Power Quality Solutions & Service, part of our Grid Integration Business Unit at Hitachi Energy Spain, S.A.U.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Scheduling

Collaborates with essential stakeholders to outline the project scope, budget, required resources, timeline, and detailed task assignments.

2. Execution and Oversight

Efficiently organizes, supervises, and manages activities to ensure milestones are met and resources are utilized effectively. Monitors project expenses and financial performance, identifies and mitigates risks, and ensures that all potential opportunities are recognized and acted upon. Finalizes project acceptance and ensures all components are successfully concluded.

3. Governance of Projects

Guarantees that projects adhere to established methodologies and execution standards in line with Hitachi Energy's internal protocols and guidelines.

4. Stakeholder Engagement

Acts as the primary contact for project stakeholders and serves as an escalation point for any project-related issues. Communicates relevant information to stakeholders promptly to foster understanding and support.

5. Leadership in Projects

Directs the project team assigned to the initiative, setting key guidelines, distributing project tasks, and inspiring and overseeing both internal and external resources to achieve all objectives and deadlines. Provides coaching, development, and constructive feedback to team members involved in the project.

6. Strategic Alignment

Remains informed about strategic changes and is consulted on any incidents or projects that could significantly impact the current project.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Project Management.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate and engage various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in English is essential, as most daily communications occur in this language.
