Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead multifunctional technology projects and programs with competing deadlines in a fast-paced, outcome-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated technical fluency, effective resource management, and cross-functional team leadership skills to deliver innovative solutions that align with the firm's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers, developers, and other professionals to drive project success.
  • Define project scope, objectives, budgets, and success criteria in collaboration with cross-functional tech teams.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project and program plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of technology solutions.
  • Assign tasks, set clear expectations, and provide guidance to ensure team productivity and cohesion.
  • Ensure the application of appropriate governance levels throughout the program life cycle.
  • Prepare executive-level reports to track and meet project targets and budgets, escalate issues and roadblocks, and recommend solutions to resolve challenges.
  • Utilize advanced analytical reasoning to assess project performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven optimizations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • An established Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering technical projects, with full lifecycle implementation experience.
  • A good sense of ownership for projects and delivery timelines.
  • Excellent time management skills with demonstrable experience of working under pressure to tight deadlines and managing a high workload with conflicting priorities.
  • Effective influencing and negotiating skills in an environment where this role may not directly control resources.
  • Flexible approach to work with a focus on delivery to deadlines and high standards.
  • The ability to have a strong impact and influence key decisions.
  • Understanding and ability to demonstrate expertise in Quality Management, Project Planning, Risk & Change management.
  • Ability to understand technical challenges and communicate them to a technical and non-technical audience.

Education, Knowledge, and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business information systems, computer science, or equivalent related IT experience.
  • Knowledge of industry-wide technology strategies.
  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience in program or project management with a demonstrated ability to develop and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • PM training and certification required.
  • Proven ability in leading through change, managing dependencies, and controlling change in high-pressure, shifting environments.
  • A self-starter mentality with the confidence to drive issues through to completion.
