Position Overview: The Clinical Applications Consultant will be responsible for providing essential support for clinical systems, ensuring effective technical application and training for all Thermo Fisher Scientific systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer support, training, and guidance to Sales, Marketing, and Technical Specialists to identify potential risks and resolve case inquiries.
- Establish and nurture strong working relationships with customers both domestically and internationally.
- Conduct technical presentations and training sessions, both on-site and off-site, to educate and assist customers and distributors in the optimal utilization of Thermo Fisher Scientific assays and protocols.
- Research, analyze, evaluate, and propose recommendations for ongoing enhancements to specifications and application procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A relevant scientific degree in clinical immunology, pathology, or an equivalent qualification, or a fully trained Applications Technician.
- Familiarity with biochemistry instrumentation or clinical laboratory processes.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Willingness to travel on short notice and occasionally work during weekends or outside regular hours.
- A valid driving license.
- Proficient command of the English language.
Desirable Attributes:
- Capability to develop comprehensive training programs.
- Experience in an Immunology or Biochemistry organization, with knowledge of laboratory instrumentation in the protein sector.
- Understanding of cultural and linguistic nuances when engaging with international clients.
- Strong proficiency in the English language.
