Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable, efficient, and secure backend systems using Java 8 and/or 11, Springboot, and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless integration with frontend applications and other microservices.
  • Work closely with the DevOps team to implement CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth deployment and monitoring of applications.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of test automation frameworks, ensuring thorough testing of applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and cloud-based solutions, applying this knowledge to improve our applications and services.

Requirements

  • Proficient knowledge of Java 8 and/or 11, Springboot, and other relevant technologies.
  • Experience with RESTful API development, SQL, and ORM technologies such as Hibernate.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization software like Docker and OpenShift.
  • Good knowledge of code versioning tools, CI/CD platforms, and database migrations tools.
  • Experience working on CI/CD pipelines, production support, and test automation.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Apache Kafka, Maven, IntelliJ, JUnit, and Mockito.
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies, IT risk, and microservice architecture.
