The Role

We are seeking an experienced Information Specialist to join our Global Library Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing customer-oriented support by implementing a tailored approach to bibliographic resources. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the Document Delivery service and correlated tools
  • Scouting new bibliographic resources and implementing customer-oriented solutions
  • Providing training on research and citation skills to end-users
  • Supporting the news alerting service activities and performing tailored bibliographic searches

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1-3 years' experience in information gathering and bibliographic research within a pharma company
  • A Master's degree in biotechnology, biology, or other scientific subjects
  • Fluent written and oral English language skills
  • Good knowledge of sources, tools, and databases for scientific information retrieval
  • Computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Office applications/software
