Supplier Quality Assurance Leader

We are seeking a skilled Supplier Quality Assurance Leader to contribute to our vision for the future. This role will be pivotal within the Purchasing division of our Projects Business Unit, directly reporting to the Cost and Materials Director.
The selected candidate will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:
> Develop and enhance the Supplier Quality framework within the Business Unit
- assess existing quality initiatives against requirements
- recommend an optimal set of activities and tools (framework) to facilitate future operations
- implement the framework based on the risk associated with suppliers and materials
- ensure ongoing enhancement of the framework
> Oversee the execution of Risk Assessment for suppliers and materials within the Business Unit
- coordinate the process with all pertinent functions
- evaluate outcomes and formulate action plans to mitigate and manage risk areas
- lead the execution of these plans
> Serve as the primary liaison for supplier quality concerns (pertaining to materials)
- track supplier performance regarding Non-Conformities (NC)
- manage the resolution of NC issues
- initiate and lead targeted initiatives to minimize supplier NC occurrences
> Establish supplier quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), devise and implement a strategy for their ongoing assessment and monitoring
> Collaborate with Corporate Quality and Project Business Unit Product Quality
- assist in resolving NC issues for Corporate suppliers
- engage in audits at supplier locations
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a Supplier Quality Assurance Leader with the following qualifications:
> Engineering or technical educational background
> Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
> Strong professional background in Supplier Quality management, ideally within automotive, home appliances, or oil & gas sectors.
> Extensive experience in conducting audits and follow-up actions
> Familiarity with complex organizational structures and exceptional stakeholder management skills
> Proactive, inquisitive, results-oriented, and adept at navigating complexity and challenges
> Strong team-building capabilities
> Proficient in English
> Willingness to travel (up to 30%)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
> Experience across multiple industries
> Certification in auditing
