Position Overview

As a Legal Intern, you will be integrated into the Italian Legal Department, collaborating with a team of four legal professionals dedicated to supporting the diverse business operations in Italy through a structured internship program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing claims and enforcement actions, as well as responding to inquiries from regulatory bodies;
  • Support the governance processes of Worldline Group companies in Italy, including the preparation of meeting notices, minutes, and related documentation, as well as maintaining corporate records;
  • Contribute to extraordinary corporate transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, and business unit contributions;
  • Conduct legal research to provide insights and draft opinions on corporate law matters;
  • Offer assistance to various internal departments regarding corporate legal issues;
  • Provide ongoing support for daily legal inquiries;
  • Collaborate in the review and update of internal policies;
  • Research legislation and case law to inform legal strategies;
  • Assist the legal team with the preparation of straightforward legal documents.

Candidate Profile

We seek individuals who are innovative thinkers, capable of driving positive change and demonstrating initiative. Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A Law degree with outstanding academic performance;
  • A dissertation focused on Banking, Fintech, or IT topics is advantageous;
  • Fluency in English; relevant certifications are a plus;
  • Prior internship experience in a banking, financial, or IT environment is preferred;
  • Proficiency in standard office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
