POSITION SUMMARY

New Guards Group Holding is in search of a dedicated Accounting Coordinator to enhance our finance department. This position will report directly to the Senior Accounting Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the precision of all income statement entries.
  • Oversee and manage the complete monthly closing process, guaranteeing timely and accurate financial disclosures.
  • Lead and supervise the accounting reconciliation activities.
  • Ensure adherence to VAT settlement procedures and reporting obligations.
  • Manage asset oversight, including tracking, depreciation, and reporting.
  • Guarantee accuracy in intercompany reconciliations.
  • Supervise the implementation and compliance of SOX controls for Internal Audit purposes.
  • Oversee VAT liquidations and declarations.
  • Maintain effective communication with auditors.
  • Manage the statutory financial statements process.
  • Coordinate the management and distribution of revenues.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with a strong emphasis on GL and VAT, preferably in an audit and advisory consultancy environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in a senior managerial capacity with a focus on GL and VAT.
  • Detail-oriented, punctual, and adaptable, with a proven ability to excel in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong leadership skills and effective communication abilities across all organizational levels.
  • Proficient in English with advanced Excel capabilities.
