About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Technology Ownership Specialist to join our team at Intesa Sanpaolo. As a key member of our Domain Data team, you will play a crucial role in driving the transformation and evolution of our bank by leveraging our vast data assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct or participate in the management of data-driven transformation projects
  • Define data strategy and its implementation roadmap
  • Conduct business requirement analysis to develop new IT solutions and improve existing ones, ensuring close collaboration with business owners to maximize data value
  • Prepare functional analysis documents in accordance with expressed requirements
  • Verify and ensure the functional correctness of business processes and IT solutions
  • Participate in project design, preparation, and execution of technical and functional tests
  • Participate in User Acceptance Tests
  • Contribute to data governance activities, coordinating and overseeing technological and architectural aspects supporting data governance, as well as data quality management processes
  • Coordinate and support external suppliers

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in IT projects related to data, with a focus on medium to high complexity, preferably in the banking, financial, or credit sector
  • Proven experience in managing group dynamics typical of large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders and geographically distributed teams
  • Experience in IT projects in cloud environments, particularly Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with CI/CD DevOps/DataOps processes and tools

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in STEM fields
  • Ability to conduct data analysis, document, and present conclusions
  • Technical and architectural expertise in data warehouse, big data, analytics, and business intelligence platforms
  • Deep knowledge of Erwin Data Modeler
  • Basic knowledge of Informatica (Axon, EDC)
  • Knowledge of IT project phases (business requirement analysis, functional analysis, etc.) and estimation methodologies
  • Proven experience in IT projects as a functional analyst
  • Knowledge of main relational databases and SQL and NOSQL languages
  • Knowledge of data transformation technologies and ETL tools (IBM Datastage / IBM Cloud Pak for Data)
  • Functional knowledge of banking processes and the role of data in these processes
  • Knowledge of data quality and data governance methodologies
  • Knowledge of monitoring and data governance tools
  • Knowledge of Apache Hadoop, Teradata, Oracle, Google BigQuery, PostgreSQL

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of synthesis systems in the banking, financial, or credit sector
  • Experience in IT projects as a functional analyst
  • Experience in IT projects using ALM Quality Center
  • Experience in IT projects using the SAS/Python/R framework
