- Act as the Senior Engineer on duty, overseeing all machinery and alarm systems in the Engine Control Room (ECR) while reporting directly to the Staff Chief.
- Maintain accurate records by entering all relevant data into the engine logbook, oil record book, and other necessary logs in compliance with maritime regulations and the ship owner's requirements.
- Ensure the safe and efficient management of engineering watches by implementing the Emergency Response Management (ERM) system.
- Participate in the routine maintenance and repair of engines and other machinery within the Engine Room, including conducting necessary overhauls.
- Possession of a national second engineer certificate of competency (COC III/2 unlimited) in accordance with STCW regulations.
- A minimum of two contracts in a similar role aboard vessels, with experience on cruise ships considered an advantage.
- Proficient in English communication skills.
- A motivated individual with a desire for professional growth.
- Customer and service-oriented, with the ability to lead and inspire teams.
