We are currently seeking a Logistics Equipment Planning Specialist to be part of our esteemed organization.
You will report directly to the Head of Logistics Engineering and Operations and will collaborate closely with the Logistics Operations Coordinator.
Your primary responsibility will be to establish and oversee the budget required for procuring logistics equipment (such as shelves, manipulators, trailers, flow racks, etc.) and manage all associated activities (including equipment certification and periodic inspections). You will serve as the liaison between Automobili Lamborghini, logistics service providers, production teams, and external suppliers. Additionally, you will assess the feasibility of supplier offers for logistics services and equipment, as well as manage logistics assets (including status checks, maintenance requests, and certifications).
Key Responsibilities Include:
Conducting status checks on logistics assets (organizing maintenance and assessing condition) and implementing improvements. Preparing technical specifications for equipment. Evaluating technical proposals from suppliers. Managing external suppliers to procure, maintain, and certify equipment. Planning equipment relocations and warehouse layouts. Updating contracts with logistics service providers regarding equipment implementation or modifications. Collecting relevant information to prepare or update risk assessments. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations by conducting inspections and audits. Monitoring the status of hazardous materials in terms of storage regulations and material placement, in coordination with safety departments. Collaborating with various departments (Logistics, Infrastructure, IT, Procurement, Safety, External Suppliers, etc.).About You
A degree in Mechanical, Management, or Industrial Engineering. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a high-volume manufacturing or automotive logistics environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AUTOCAD. Strong project management skills. Experience collaborating with logistics service providers and external suppliers. Familiarity with safety regulations. Proven problem-solving abilities. Fluency in English; knowledge of Italian and German is a plus. Strong personality with the capability to implement actions and initiatives. Excellent communication skills. A collaborative mindset and customer-oriented approach.What We Offer
